"I hear Jerusalem Bells A Ringin'"....Carillon Bells at the YMCA tower

For one of our free days, we went to the YMCA bell tower to play the Carillon Bells. It was SO fun!! Brother Whipple is the organ player and director of music here at the center with his wife, they are awesome. Through the years, these bells had stopped being play and somehow a music director here at the center found out and asked to play them. So now people from the Jerusalem Center play the bells every Sunday from 11:15 to 12:00. Brother Whipple allows the students to come and we are all so grateful he lets us.
We all practiced a little bit on the practice bells next to it and all you have to do is read the music, like playing the piano, find the note and pull it down. We all played different hymns. I was able to play "Come, Come Ye Saints" and "As I have Loved You". Some other hymns that were played were "Redeemer of Israel" and "I know that My Redeemer Lives". We can't share the gospel at all while we are here but we were able to share our testimonies through these hymns. It was such a beautiful sound to hear these hymns ring out over Jerusalem and think about the doctrine of these hymns.
